We are currently looking for a Junior Automation Engineer on behalf of our client who wants to develop and monitor advanced automation systems for ships and vessels. Here you will use your technical skills in systems, software, and design in an exciting environment. Our client operates within the defense industry and works every day to make Sweden a little safer. You will work with automation systems on board ships and vessels, including HMI, control and monitoring of engines, pressure, and other technical systems, as well as ensuring that the systems function as they should during test runs and operations. The role also involves design and CAD work related to automation solutions, as well as work with integration between electrical design, system solutions, and automation. You will be part of an experienced team with good opportunities for support and development.

• Has a degree in engineering with a focus on automation, or you have studied a vocational education in automation and have a couple of years of experience in the field.
• Is fluent in Swedish and English.
• Has good knowledge of PLC programming.
• Has a basic understanding of design, signals, and protocols.

It is not a requirement but considered meritorious if you have:

• Experience from a similar role previously and/or experience from the defense industry.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.

For the position, our client has requirements for security classification, which may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
